Christmas in Pyrmont is an annual street fair organised by Pyrmont and Ultimo residents. While celebrating the festive season, the event promotes the sense of community, while raising funds for – and awareness of – local charities.
This year, the 2022 event was hosted at Wentworth Park Sporting Complex and had an incredible turn out with over 2000 people in attendance. The 30 odd stalls varied from food and beverage offerings, locally made goods, and active community groups. There was something for every one with performances from local bands, choirs and dancers as well as a jumping castle for children to enjoy.
Through the collective effort volunteer effort of Pyrmont and Ultimo residents, and attendance from thousands of guests, the Christmas in Pyrmont team were able to raise and distribute $30K each to their chosen charities.
